The following was copied from the Captain's LinkedIn page:
"After 37 years of playing Navy, I have retired. As I reflect on this incredible
chapter of my life, I am filled with gratitude, pride, and a deep sense of fulfillment. But most of all, I am filled with thanks— thanks for the Navy, for my fellow Sailors, for the experiences, the challenges, and the lifelong friendships that have shaped me. It has been an amazing journey, and I have so many people to thank for the mentorship, leadership and friendship. I’ve witnessed the evolution of our Navy—its technology, its strategies, and most importantly, its people. It’s been a privilege to watch the next generation of Sailors step up, carry the torch, and continue the mission with unwavering dedication. This is the Navy that I am proud to leave behind, knowing it will continue to stand strong, proud, and ready to protect our nation. It’s been the privilege of a lifetime, and I look forward to the next chapter."
"Our motto represents the unstoppable combat power of the Navy-Marine Corps team supported by our families and friends at home."
